The Orange Traffic Cone

I met Chris at Station Sushi in Solana Beach for a bite and a drink and a nice buddy conversation. Talked about life. Good heavy stuff.

Then we noticed all these orange cones across the street. There are some very functional tools all around us that we use every day and take for granted. You look at an orange cone and probably go "But of course. It's an orange cone. It serves a purpose. If it wasn't around I could've come up with it. Simple." But in reality, inventing something like the orange cone is a big deal and not that easy.

So it was decided that the inventor of the orange cone has got to be one brilliant man. Would love to meet him or her for a drink and discuss the thought process of coming up with such a great invention.
