My 15th Birthday

Today I turned 15...15 years living in the US.

It's been a crazy ride and it's getting crazier with each year. My friend Kelly took this picture. I look at myself and I can't believe it's been 15 years since I first stood on this beach. Time flies they say; I say it travels with the speed of sound...

It's good to see myself holding on tight to a camera - I need to take pictures during the next 15 years if they promise to be even half as exciting as the last 15.

Rock on, Krassy! Here's to a great 15 and to many more!

Brian Jonestown Massacre Live

The Brian Jonestown Massacre show at the Casbah tonight was completely sold out. I didn't expect it. I guess the Dig buzz managed to get San Diegans out of their homes on a school night and made them finally check out a band that has been around forever and usually plays to 50 people max in this city. Tonight's turn out wasn't cool for Pazzo, Marie and I, as we all wanted to see the show. I went to the Casbah at around 8 to get tickets, but as I already mentioned, the night was completely sold out. I got lucky by running into Tim Mays, the club's owner, who invited me in as his guest(way cool of him!) and stamped my wrist. I hesitated to see the show as I really wanted to go with Marie and Pazzo. I went home and after Marie's advice that I should go anyway, I returned at 11 o'clock to see the crazy Anton Newcombe and company. Rock'n'Roll'n'Punk'n'Drunk. Here are some photos:
